Returns Policy

We want you to love every Tharara piece. If something is not quite right, you may return eligible items within 15 days of delivery. This policy explains what qualifies, how to start a return, and when you can expect your refund or exchange.

15-Day Return Window

You have 15 calendar days from the date your order is delivered to request a return or exchange. Requests received after this window cannot be accepted, except where an item is defective or we are required to do so under applicable consumer law.

Eligibility — Unused & Original Condition

To be eligible for a return or exchange, all of the following must apply:

  • The item is unused — not worn, altered, resized, engraved, or exposed to perfumes, lotions, or chemicals.
  • The item is in its original condition, with all tags, certificates, and protective packaging intact.
  • The piece is returned in the original Tharara box and packaging (or equivalent secure packaging if the original was damaged in transit).
  • You can provide your order number and proof of purchase.

Items that show signs of wear, missing components, or damage caused after delivery will not qualify for a refund and may be sent back to you at your expense.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Personalised or custom-made jewellery (engraving, custom sizing, bespoke designs) — not returnable except where the item is defective or not as described.
  • Final-sale or clearance items, if explicitly marked as non-returnable at purchase.
  • Gift cards and promotional vouchers.
  • Items returned without original packaging or with security tags removed.

How to Request a Return

  1. Email support@tharara.com within 15 days of delivery with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason (optional but helpful).
  2. Our team will confirm eligibility and share return instructions, including the pickup or drop-off address.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging. We recommend photographing the piece before dispatch.
  4. Hand the package to our courier partner or drop it at the location we provide. Return shipping is free for eligible returns within India.

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you within 2 business days confirming approval or explaining any issues.
  • Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection. Bank processing times may vary.
  • Shipping charges are not deducted for eligible returns — you receive a full refund of the product price paid.
  • Cash-on-delivery orders, if applicable, are refunded via bank transfer or UPI to the account details you provide.

Exchanges

Prefer a different size or style? Let us know when you contact support. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If your preferred replacement is unavailable, we will offer a full refund instead. Exchange shipments follow our Shipping policy timelines.

Defective or Wrong Items

If you receive a defective piece, an item that does not match your order, or a product damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will arrange a free pickup and offer a replacement or full refund, including any applicable shipping costs — even for personalised items where the defect is our fault.
